The act surprised her, but Katie liked the way her body felt, pulled in one clean line. She smiled and he bit her neck, harder than she expected. His body pressed into hers, so she couldn’t move unless he let her. Katie waited for a trapped, panicked feeling, but all she felt was peace. She relaxed, and warmth crawled from his bruising mouth into hers, slow and thick as honey, coating her on the inside. Katie shivered and leaned into him as best she could. She felt like she’d found home again.
