I love these two stories, from Molly Gaudry and Brandi Wells. Since I came across them in the Best of the Web 2010, I’ve been rereading them. I hope that you do the same. Enjoy today’s Stories of the Day, our fourth look at the fantastic literary anthology.

“John was long gone by then but he had a telescope trained on Kate’s attic, and he saw the whole thing happen, and as it happened he screamed.”

“The man is trapped inside her pillowcase. He thought he could escape, but then she put the pillow sham on and he couldn’t find a way out. After a bit, the pillow sham made him feel more comfortable, like she was the kind of girl that would piss with the bathroom door open and drink beers with him on Sunday.”
