I am extremely disturbed by the national trend (thanks, DOE), which seems to be that educators are an expendible aspect of education. I’m here to tell you, because evidently I still possess common sense (in this matter, anyway), that this is just the worst possible decision. Budget cuts = laying off teachers? How does that make sense, unless we live in the Bizarro world?
